Year 12 Interfaith Dialogue Project
The fourth inter-faith dialogue session of “Our Faith, Our Belief” Year 12 Interfaith Dialogue Project took place at the Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden.
The theme for this session was “How does our faith and belief shape our lives today?”
We were warmly welcomed by Imam Adeel Shah who joined the dialogue and very kindly offered Year 12 students a guided tour of the mosque.
The project involved representatives from Ricards Lodge High School, Rutlish School, Wimbledon College, Ursuline High School and St Mark's Academy.
Sixth form students had the opportunity to meet with members of the London Borough of Merton’s Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE), discuss the merits and challenges of conducting interfaith actions and dialogue, reflect on and share their learning and experiences from the Project.
