What Our Girls Say

Leah

Year 11, Junior Leadership Team

I am immensely proud to be appointed as Deputy Head Girl and to have the opportunity to work alongside members of the school community who are passionate and dedicated to helping everyone grow into the best version of themselves.

Ricards Lodge has been instrumental in fostering my love for sports and igniting my passion for dance. Over the years, I have been fortunate to participate in incredible events such as The Great Big Dance Off, London Youth Games, dance showcases, school musicals, and numerous matches and tournaments. These experiences have been some of the best highlights of my time at Ricards Lodge. Rehearsing, performing, and competing on stage or on the pitch with my closest friends is exactly why I chose this school.

Being part of Ricards Lodge has helped shape me into the person I am today, offering countless opportunities that I never imagined were possible. I’ve gained invaluable skills that will benefit me greatly in the future. One of my proudest achievements was being selected as a Wimbledon Ball Girl in 2023. This experience was both one of the most rewarding and challenging of my life. It taught me discipline and adaptability on the court, and I am especially grateful for the support I received from Ms. Blake and my fellow ball girls, which made it all possible.

I have always aspired to be a member of the Junior Leadership Team, and now I aim to work hard to ensure that every girl who steps into Ricards Lodge can excel in what they are passionate about and leave feeling a strong sense of accomplishment. Looking ahead, I plan to continue playing football outside of school and pursue A-level courses that will help me build a career in the sporting industry.
