I already knew the teachers and the school, after studying at Ricards for high school from years 7-11, and therefore felt comfortable with the overall transition from GCSE to A-Level.

In addition to this, the facilities at both of the sixth form sites are fantastic, and the staff at both of the sites are very supportive and help out when they can, to ensure we get the best grades possible at the end of Year 13.

The subjects that I chose to study at RR6 are Dance, History, and Sociology. The subjects are shared over the 2 sites which means I travel between them throughout the duration of my timetable, allowing me to become familiar with the other site as well.

This aspect in particular appealed to me as it offers more independence to us. Alongside the three core subjects I am studying, we are also timetabled supported study periods, which are compulsory and extremely beneficial as it allows us to use the schools resources to complete any outstanding work or revision.
