Year 11, Junior Leadership Team
Ricards Lodge has been a great school that has opened up new areas of learning and personal growth. Each year has brought unique experiences, pushing me to keep an open mind and challenge myself.
My year group had an unusual start - we didn't finish year six properly and didn't have a traditional year seven. Despite the challenges of lockdown, the staff went above and beyond to support and integrate us, and I'm truly grateful for that.
I've been actively involved in the PE department, the sports council, and, in Year 10, the Peer Outreach Programme (POP), which helped me connect with other year groups and understand the positive impact of the Junior Leadership Team (JLT).
Outside of school, football plays a big role in my life. It has taught me resilience, time management, teamwork, and leadership skills that I'm excited to bring to the JLT this year.
I'm grateful to be part of such a supportive Junior Leadership Team, and I look forward to contributing to the school's continued progress.
