What Our Girls Say

Maisy

Year 11, Junior Leadership Team

As Assistant Head Girl, I hope to encourage and support students at Ricards Lodge in creating a manageable yet productive school environment. I am highly committed to our school values and what they represent, particularly aspiration. My goal is to inspire all students to find something they enjoy and to encourage them to try new things.

Having big dreams and goals is crucial not only during your teenage years but throughout all stages of life. Striving for a goal — even if it isn’t fully achieved — gives students a sense of purpose, which is an incredibly empowering and unmatched feeling. During my time at Ricards, I have certainly embraced new opportunities, and they have often turned out to be some of the best experiences of my life. For instance, I have completed both the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards. Although challenging, these experiences have given me incredible memories and taught me valuable lessons along the way.

Outside of school, I coach and train in gymnastics, and I also play cricket during the summer — both of which I thoroughly enjoy.

Being a part of the Junior Leadership Team is an honour, and I am dedicated to serving as a supportive and inspiring student voice for the school and its community.
